From playing sets for mates in his house garage to roaring crowds at clubs globally; Vifak’s unwavering passion for music burns stronger than ever today.

The Maldivian born DJ rose to fame in the early 2000’s, hitting the ground running playing exclusive sets for the most exclusive resorts in the Maldives such as W Maldives, Huvafenfushi Maldives, One&Only Resorts, Six Senses Laamu, Conrad Maldives and to the international clubs to name a few as Zouk (KL), Zion (KL), The Aviary (AU), Pearl NH (UK).

The open format DJ, Turntablist and Producer was drawn to the music scene by his keen interest for Hip Hop and Electronic music since he was a mere teenager. He is widely known to cross over and incorporate a range of musical genres within his sets which makes him a real crowd-pleaser wherever he spins. The seasoned DJ knows the ins ad outs of how to work a crowd from a pub on a Friday night to a beach bar to an extravagant club.

One of his biggest stints was by collaborating a string of instruments including saxophone, guitar and percussion’s for a live performance at the very first Sounds of Maldives (2010) concerts which essentially became the talk of the town.

In 2012, he spun at the opening of the world’s 1st underwater club, SubSix at Niyama Maldives alongside British rapper Tinie Tempah. Adding to that, he has also had the pleasure of supporting and sharing the decks alongside DJ Poet Name Life (Black Eyed Peas’ Tour DJ), DJ Ravin and Claude Challe (of Buddha Bar), José Padilla (of Cafe del Mar), Charles Schillings, Paul Harris (of Dirty Vegas) and Dan Castro, during their tour to Maldives.
